HDMI Capture Card setup, Stream PUBG, BGMI, COD, FreeFire

This is the most reliable HDMI capture card setup to stream any Android game with a decent
1080p quality.
There are many methods to stream PUBG mobile on YouTube from a PC, but you have to choose
which one is best for you.
However, you can try this FREE method of streaming without any investment.
Okay, now I am going to tell you my secret method of PUBG streaming with in-game voice chat.

HDMI capture card setup requirements

This PUBG streaming setup is divided into three combinations, you can choose one combination
as per the availability of the accessories.
These are the three main things you need to get started
Type C to Multiport
HDMI cable
HDMI capture card
This cheapest capture card doesn’t support stereo output so with the help of an Audio Card in
USB 3.0 we can get the stereo left/right channels.
There are two types of audio cards
Dual-Port Audio Card
Triple-Port Audio Card
After that, we need a few more things as per the combination
Aux cable
Elgato chat-link
3.5mm splitter (2 male to 1 female)
3.5mm copier (1 male to 2 female

HDMI Capture Card setup Combination 1

In this combination, I am going to use the below accessories.
Multiport, HDMI cable, HDMI capture card
Triple-Port Audio Card
Aux cable
3.5mm Earphones

The Process for PC

  1. Firstly, Connect the Type-C multiport to the smartphone. (your smartphone should support
hdmi display out, check out this supported smartphone list before proceeding)
  2. Insert the HDMI cable to the multiport and other end goes to the HDMI capture card.
  3. Now insert the HDMI capture card to the computer’s USB port.
  4. After that, connect the triple-port Audio Card into the USB 3.0 of type-c multiport.
  5. Insert the Aux cable into the audio port of Audio Card and other end goes to the line-in
    port of PC.
  6. Okay, now insert the earphones into the headphone jack on Audio Card, there you can
listen game audio directly from your smartphone and use the earphones mic for in-game
    chat.

The Process for Laptop

Follow the same process as PC except for the audio input since laptops don’t have a dedicated
line-in port.
Then we have to use either an Audio Card’s mic port or a 3.5mm port on a laptop.

Most of the laptops have a single headphone port. For that, use a splitter, insert the auxiliary
cable in the mic imaged port of the splitter.
Whenever you use microphone port for audio aux input, we can’t use laptop’s default
microphone. Hence we need to use external microphone to serve the purpose.
If you are using audio card for audio aux input, then you can use laptop’s microphone.

Realtek Audio settings

After the whole setup, it is time for general settings, right after the audio input you will get a
popup of your default audio driver which is the Realtek audio manager.

Select the line-in option and click ok. Then adjust the volume levels as required (max volume is
recommended)

OBS settings – Add HDMI capture card

Download and Install the OBS (open broadcaster software)

Go to the sources, click on the ‘+’ icon to add the source of the capture card by selecting ‘Video
Capture Device’.
Now select USB Video or USB 3.0 capture from the properties. After that, you can change the
properties, configure settings, additional options as you like.
(“USB Video” will be shown for 2.0 variant and “USB 3.0 capture” for 3.0 variant of capture card)
If your smartphone or tablet is compatible, then the screen will appear on the OBS.

OBS Audio settings

Now for the audio, go to the properties of Video Capture Device, scroll down, and tick the ” Use
custom audio device”.
There you can see the Audio Device section, click on the drop-down menu, then select line-in as
the audio source.
For Laptop: Select Microphone as an audio source or select Microphone (USB PnP Sound Device)
for audio.

Revome PUBG Mobile static and hissing sound

On the right side of the streaming panel, you can observe the Graph, where static and hissing
sounds can be seen.
To remove it, go to the settings -> click on the filter -> click on “+” then select Noise Suppression.
Then there will be two options to use.

Speex (Lower CPU usage)
RNNoise (Higher Quality)
Adjust the levels according to the microphone and output quality. Speex is recommended for midrange microphones like lav mic, earphones mic, etc.

HDMI capture card setup combination 2

In the second combination, I am going to use the below accessories.
Multiport, HDMI cable, HDMI capture card
Dual-Port Audio Card
3.5mm splitter (2 male to 1 female)
Elgato chat-link
3.5mm Earphones

Here we have a dual-port audio card, that’s why we need Elgato’s chat-link instead of Aux cable
for audio input.
As you can see chat-link comes with a 4 pole jack, a 3 pole jack, and a 3.5mm female port. look at
the images for better understanding.
All the other audio settings, OBS settings to be as same as combination 1.

HDMI capture card setup combination 3

Finally, with this combination, I am going to use the below accessories.
Multiport, HDMI cable, HDMI capture card
Dual-Port Audio Card
3.5mm splitter (2 male to 1 female)
3.5mm copier (1 male to 2 female)
Aux cable
3.5mm Earphones

We are going to use a splitter, aux cable, and copier instead of Elgato chat-link. Simply look at the
images for understanding.
All the other audio settings, OBS settings to be as same as combination 1.

Some Known Issues and solutions

The PiBOX does support type-c charging and audio from USB 3.0 at the same time, it does
not work simultaneously.
Type-c port on PiBOX is only for charging, we can not transfer data through it.
You can’t charge your device while streaming when you are using USB 3.0 for audio, but if
you don’t want in-game chat then you can charge your device and listen to audio through
PC.
This HDMI capture card does not support stereo audio so that is why we are using a USB
sound card for audio input.
The duration of streaming is totally depends on your smartphone battery, so more battery
more streaming time.
Keep in mind that all those accessories do consume battery from smartphone so you may
feel lower battery backup or screen on time.
