How to Stream BGMI with In Game Voice for FREE

How to stream BGMI with in-game voice chat for FREE..?

is it possible..?

Yes, you can stream BGMI or PUBG just like a pro streamer Mortal, Dynamo, Sc0ut, Viper, etc.

Okay, I know so many methods to stream BGMI using MHL or non-MHL smartphones, but here I’m going to tell you my favorite setup because it is free.

So, what do we need to get started?

A mid-range PC/laptop to run mirroring software and a mid-range smartphone to play the game, that’s it.

Mirroring software to stream BGMI

When comes to screen mirroring software, there are a lot of options but none of them are free, so here we have a lifesaver ‘scrcpy’ free mirroring application.

scrcpy & sndcpy is a free and open-source screen/audio mirroring application that allows you to mirror your Android screen with audio for free.

  • scrcpy v1.24 is a video mirroring app
  • sndcpy v1.1 is an audio transmitting app

USB debugging

Enable the USB debugging on your smartphone to mirror the screen, but some smartphones need additional access too.

Let’s take Redmi 8a as an example, and enable the following developer options.

  • USB Debugging
  • Install via USB
  • USB Debugging (security settings)

Now it is time for real action…

BGMI Screen Mirroring

Firstly, download the files from the link given at the bottom of this page.

Then, connect the smartphone to the PC using an original data cable. After that, extract the scrcpy and sndcpy zip files to the same new folder.

Now go to extracted files on your PC and run the ‘scrcpy’ application, right after that the command window will open along with your smartphone screen window. The command window will show some details like the resolution, model of your smartphone, etc.

That’s it, you have successfully mirrored your smartphone screen.

Here is the interesting part, literally you can control your smartphone using a computer keyboard and mouse.

BGMI Audio Mirroring

Hold on, Before proceeding further, You need to install the VLC media player right now to use this sndcpy. If you have already installed it on your pc then update it to the latest version to avoid technical issues.

Now check the folder where you extracted both scrcpy & sndcpy and run the sndcpy v1.1 batch file, that’s it no further action is needed. Now you can listen to the audio from your smartphone and also from your computer simultaneously.

This means you can listen to BGMI audio from your smartphone & chat with your teammates by using both wired and wireless earphones.

If the sndcpy v1.1 is not working then you can try the initial release sndcpy v1.0

sndcpy v1.0 procedure: Run the sndcpy v1.0 batch file, and the command window will appear. After that, it will say ” Press Enter once audio capture is authorized on the device to start playing…”. After that, tap on the popup “start now” on your smartphone and press enter on sndcpy command window.

How to FIX the Audio Delay in scrcpy and sndcpy setup

To fix the delay/latency on your OBS, simply add -200ms in ‘Sync Offset’ at ‘Advanced Audio Properties’ of the audio

The audio sync is not visible/audible in real-time, so you have to record the video on the OBS and check the playback.

scrcpy and sndcpy OBS setup

Simply add your screen mirroring window through ‘Window Capture’ and add phone audio through ‘Audio Output Capture’ then select default audio driver.

Next, add a microphone source to chat with the YouTube live viewers.

That’s it, Done with the setup but don’t proceed without reading the important points.

Important things to know

Some smartphones may not support sndcpy/scrcpy due to its UI or security updates/features from the brand. (for example Oppo smartphones)

As I said, this is an open-source application which means it is not perfect and of course, some minor issues are there.

  • Your smartphone will charge at a normal speed of 2.5watts via USB which gives an additional battery boost.
  • Maximize the mirroring window to get the maximum quality in OBS while streaming and recording.
  • Make sure the installed path of the VLC in the sndcpy Batch file is correct. Right-click on sndcpy>edit>paste the correct path of VLC.

C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe or C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe
